Peach Pistachio Cake Recipe 🍰
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
4. Gently fold in the chopped peaches and pistachios.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
