Lemon Fish Seasoning
Ingredients:
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tbsp dried dill
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl.
Lightly crush the herbs if necessary.
Pour the mixture into a clean, airtight jar.
Use to season fish, seafood, steamed vegetables, or lemon sauces.
Potato Seasoning Mix
Ingredients:
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp 1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Place all the spices and herbs in a bowl.
Mix well until you obtain a uniform mixture.
Store in an airtight jar.
Sprinkle over potatoes with a drizzle of oil before baking or pan-frying.
Spices for Savory Rice
Ingredients:
1 tbsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Mix all the spices in a bowl.
Stir until you obtain a uniform color.
Pour into a small, sealed jar.
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons to the rice cooking water or to fried rice.
Brunch Egg Seasoning
Ingredients:
1 tbsp dried chives
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Add all ingredients to a bowl.
Mix thoroughly.
Transfer to an airtight jar.
Sprinkle over scrambled eggs, omelets, fried eggs, or brunch potatoes.
Herb Steak Rub
Ingredients:
1 tbsp cracked black pepper
1 tsp 1 tbsp coarse salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground mustard
Preparation:
Mix the pepper, salt, herbs, and spices.
Rub the mixture generously onto the steak.
Let it rest for 15 to 30 minutes before cooking.
Cook in a pan, on the grill, or on the barbecue according to your preference.
Mediterranean Dry Dressing
Ingredients:
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp 1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Place all the herbs and spices in a bowl.
Mix well.
Store in a clean, sealed jar.
Mix 1 teaspoon with olive oil and vinegar to make a quick vinaigrette.
